Red Nine Greens Renovation Update

The photos below show the progress on the red nine renovation work.  I think you will find favor with the changes and the improvements.  The project is progress on schedule and with expected improvements.
The #3 red green will have a new look.  There will be no bunker in front of the green and the large slope in the front of the green will go away.  There will be 3 bunkers surrounding the green, located to the left, right and behind the putting surface.

The photo below is a view of the #3 red fairway bunker.  The fairway has been widened and the size of the bunker has been reduced.  This offers a wider landing area for the tee shots and an increased distribution area for golf cart traffic.  The area of black dirt that was originally sand and bluegrass rough will become fairway and replaced by bentgrass.

The photo below is a view of the newly designed and renovated #5 red fairway bunker.  The bunker has been reduced in size and the fairway has been widened by an additional 15 yards.  This will offer the golfer a landing area more than twice as wide as before.

If you have any questions about the renovation, feel free to contact me.  I will be glad to take you our for a view of the work.  Thank you for your patience as we continue to progress with the project.
